It’s gonna be funny looking at her look at the eggs and not be able to get to them. She’s going to be ticked and I’m gonna laugh. Thank you so much for your help

We have several nest boxes but they always insist on using the same one of course. Never seen them fight over a spot before but it was almost like she wanted the eggs that were under her more than she wanted that spot
Sounds like it already is a problem, if a bird is ousting another from the nest then breaking hard shelled egg to eat it's a pretty serious problem. I'd isolate that leghorn ASAP, see what happens...and if any other birds are eating eggs. What can start as curiosity pecking and/or opportunistic eating of easily broken eggs(thin or soft shelled) can turn into a habit that is very hard to break.Hopefully I can construct the soon before it turns into a full on problem
