My name is kc- I am new to BYC. I live on the southern oregon coast. Got a leg mite problem. Was wondering if eggs are still safe to eat?
I plan to treating with
- D.E. ( food grade)
-tee tree oil
- white vinegar
-soap water scrub before oil and vinegar

Everything I use will be safe. Was wondering if eggs are and will still be good? - Thank you

Welcome to byc!! I would say it is safe to eat the eggs as long as you have not given them meds (i.e. ivermectin) to treat the mites. Mites are external parasites so they would not affect the eggs. It would be best if you can also post your concern in the disease section to get better answers. Goodluck!
