Think its time to pull the plug on the button quail?

Yesterday was the last hatch and still nothing. saturday was day 16. I cant candle them since I dont have a candler. What do you think? Is it time to unplug?

I was thinking about pipping the bottom of the egg to make sure. I want to make sure I dont throw out any live ones lol

It does not hurt to try. The ones I pipped were dead, and I always wondered if I should of pipped them sooner

I would try making small holes in or opening some to make sure. Maybe you will get lucky with at least 1. Never know.

Mrs. AK told me before that she usually waits a day after the last one hatches then opens them up. You might find a live one or two, but it is unlikely. If I hadn't waited so long on mine, I probably would have had 3 instead of 1. I had 2 die in the shell because of humidity probs.
