The comb is a little pink but it may be too early still. If it stays the way it is I would think pullet, but if it continues to redden (along with The wattles) then its most likely a cockerel.

I see cockeral at this age....I see bud spurs on his legs and their combs are a bit larger and much pinker than girls at that age.

So if it were a pullet, there would be no spur buds at all? And btw, at what age would the spurs start to come out?

im not sure when apurs come out but one of my 10-11 week cockrels that even crown has only tiny buds aswell

and ive heard that pullets can get spur buds aswell

True, females can get spur buds but in the Orpington breed, it is very uncommon unless it was the hatchery kind.

The females with spur buds makes the BEST cockeral sons, as one Hamburg breeder said. However that is bad for daughters because you do NOT want spur buds on them and they ARE genetically passed down.

my birds are not hatchery infact there are no hatcheries in the UK that mass produce

all birds are from breeders and my bird above if from a pure bred lemon cuckoo orp father and buff orp mother (i hatched it myself by getting eggs from the breeder)

infact the breeder has put her buff orp breeding flock up for sale and im considering buying the whole flock

i will look at his sister she is 8 weeks old and see if she has spur buds that should give me an idea

here are some pics

i want to bring to your attension the tail feathers of both birds

the lemon looks to have a much higher tail and that would indicate roo

I want to say it's a cockerel - because the legs appear thick and chunky, man legs
