Think my quail dead is there a way to check

Hi i just checked on my quail like i normally do and think it died in its sleep as its body on side and not moving and chirping and is pretty cold when i put head to body i dont hear anything like breath/heart is there anything i can do to like super check (like i could pick it up/move it like a chicken in store and no movement or ruffling etc)

If it is cold under the feathers and the chest isn’t moving, she is dead. I am so sorry.

Is it stiff? If it's not moving it probably died.

It not moved so like 90% sure it is and whats best way get rid it if is (uk) they was gonna be 3 in easter

I 3d print so used an old 2kg spool box as temp coffin depending if they can go in black bags etc and even when i tryed slide in nothing so looks like might be start riger so down to 1 quail now

I think it is dead too,aslong as it is not moving and is cold it is dead.

Are you feeding your quail seeds? They need a high protein diet for game birds.

Three years old is a pretty good life for quail. I think they normally live for about that. Sorry for your loss.

Quail feed + seed with mealworms (fresh) around every 3 month(dry every couple months)
