Thank you! That is so encouraging. And same! I was stumped when I went to change out their water and top off food and just found her like that. They are far from overcrowded, don't have a large overhead, or any obstacles in their cage. Who knowsI separated her for a few days. On the third day her wing was still drooped but she wasn't panting as much as before so I decided to put her back with the others. She's doing fine now.
I made my research when I started with quails about common illnesses, injuries etc. I was prepared for bumble foot, pecking injuries and them hitting their heads against the ceiling but never found anything about wing injuries that could happen while they live happily in their cage.
