Really too soon to tell, would lean toward cockerel. Silkies a notoriously difficult to sex. And I agree with @Frazzemrat1 , this doesn't look like a pure silkie. Did you get it from a breeder?

at that age, this is a cockerel.
The reason I said it was a cross is because he doesn't have the completely dark skin. His comb should be a dark black which would turn to a mulberry color later. This one's comb will be red. Given that, there's other genes at play here.
