Thinking about electric fence?

I have an electric fence around my coop, it is working well however one of my newbie chicks ( she's 4 months old) put her head threw the fence and apparently touched the hot wire it killed her. She was laying across it this morning when I went to check on everyone. So be careful how it's set up. I have to figure out something to do to make sure it will not happen again.

You should put a 2nd layer of wire on the inside of the yard fence. like hardware cloth or even that green cloth-type stuff that people use for gardens, i think they sell it at lowes and its only like 2-3ft tall so it would surely keep them from poking their heads through.
