Thinking about getting a Doberman, anyone else with them?

I have 2 big males! LOVE LOVE LOVE Them! I will never own another breed. One is 9 , the other is 3 and they are just fantastic! They are great with my kids and all people. The older one loves the chickens and will guard the babies. He loves all other animals..I swear he could be an adoptive"mother" to most. The younger one had some chasing issues when he was really young, but with training he now behaves around the chickens and other small animals. We raised both from 11 weeks and they are the best dogs I've ever had! Again, as I said..I will never own a different breed. To have 2 great family dogs and feel safe and protected..it just doesn't get any better

I also have a Miniature Pincher, he is great with all small animals and chickens, but people not so much

I love him anyway, but probably would never get another...


I totally recommend getting a dobie!!!

My BFF got a dobie pup a few years ago. It was so much fun to watch him grow up! He is very serious but a total lovebug if you know him. My BFF is all of 100 lbs and the dog weights as much as her! lmao
She has him well trained though.
My father in law also used to own one. He to was great with people he knew but not with strangers.
