Thinking About Getting Ducks, Looking For Advice Please!

Well today wasn't a very productive day. I'm going back out to shop for stuff tomorrow.

Grandma is going to let me use an xpen she has as well as a heat lamp (though the lamp is ancient, I might just buy a new one) so that saves me some money.

We went to a feed store and I had them order some brewers yeast for me so I got that. I got an extra bulb for the lamp, a thermometer, and a tote to make a platform for their food/water to keep them a little neater.

Edit: Oh! I also bought some puppy pads I plan to use just for the first couple days and then I'll switch to shavings.

They are all so cute! My mom just loves runners. I've promised to get some when we are finally on our farm. Just for her, of course. Not because I need them or anything. Obviously.

Guess who finished shopping today!

Pictured:
Feeder, Waterer, Chick Grit, electrolytes, heat lamp, heat bulb, puppy pads, thermometer, and cat litter scoop.

Not pictured:
Tote, 1/4in wire mesh, xpen, Chick feed, brewers yeast, and 2 bags of shavings.

And of course I couldn't resist those. Rubber duckies to swim in the tub with them and a little lamb to snuggle up next to.

The cat scoop is to help spot cleaning the shavings. I figured I'd try it. And I realize the ducks will quickly outgrow the waterer, I'll probably doctor a new one up or something when they do.
