Have you had any predator issues with your current setup? We used hardware cloth for our run but I'm too nervous leaving the run open overnight as I've read that raccoons can get through hardware cloth if they are determined.
No I have had no trouble with the current set up I really recommend that you do the hot pepper trick

Oh thats easy you get the hottest peppers you can get your hands on I use ghost peppers crush them up especially the seeds and put them around your property, coop, run and the predators won't come anywhere near reapply every month or after a big rain and your golden
