I live in PA and was looking into taking a CPT course. I need more info. from members that are CPT's in PA.
Here are my questions:
Can a CPT test their own birds?
Does the CPT have to purchase their own testing supplies, such a needles, syringes, swabs, tubes, etc.?
Are samples mailed to the lab or hand delivered ?
Who is responsible for the postage if they are mailed?
Does the CPT charge a fee for their services?
Any additional information on the responsibilities of a CPT would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what CPT is, exactly....quick google got me this:
Curricular Practical Training (CPT).

Guess it would depend on what curriculum you study.

Providing a link to the program you are thinking of taking would help us help you figure it out.
Or call the place you plan to study and ask them.
Or look at their website, I would think that info would be part of the course description.

Thanks for your response aart.
I was able to locate detailed info on the certified poultry tech. course on line.
