Thinking ahead -- anyone start peeps in August?

Date sort Score sort
It makes more sense to hatch them in the fall -- then by spring they are ready to lay throughout the summer and as far into fall as they will -- you end up with a longer laying season.

I am hatching mine now because I have a broody now -- I was not consulted.
