Thinking of adding 2 Guineas???

Mine go back to the coop every night. I do make sure to get up at dawn (even on the weekends) to open the door to let them out. Having them cooped up with the chickens too long can lead to problems as they get antsy and start picking on everyone. Size doesn't matter as they also used to harass (i.e. ninja kick) my turkey hen. I've been doing work on my run so it's not at 100% right now which is why I have to make sure to shut the coop door at night right now.

Edit: I forgot to mention that my coop is also 6x8, 6' at the peak. I have five guineas, five standard chickens (including a rooster), and six bantams (including another rooster). It has aproximately 19' of roost space and that is key. I recently added another 3' so that the chickens could roost as far as they needed to from the guineas.

I just got one adult Guinea and I am going to get another I've always had chickens but never Guineas I am looking for some tips on how long I should keep them in the coop before I let them out for the first time. Does anyone know how long that should be for

I would comment more about raising mine with pheasents, but my pheasents were aten because they just wandered into the dog's kennel
