I have 24 keets from Ideal. I was going to sell off all but 6 of them. It seems that I've read that 6 was a good number to start with.
Mine will be 8 weeks on the 11th. They're starting to get their adult voices, but it's impossible to know who it's coming from since they're always piling when I go in to feed them. They're in a seperate coop from the chickens. I thought I'd put them together when I wittled down to 6, but perhaps I'll rethink the whole situation. I don't plan to let them out until next spring.
