Hey Derrick this Sunday if you are near Jacksonville - there is the Chicken Swap meet at Bent Creek Feed on 103rd St Near Cecil Field (Seriousl near the end of 103rd!) There are quite of few of us from the Forum that come. I go to see all the different kinds of chickens people bring to trade, sell etc.... Bring your wife and family and have a looksee!

Also, perhaps you should encourage your wife to come and look at the forum and see how much we enjoy our birds, and how fun of a hobby it is. I've found a lot of people don't really understand how interesting keeping chickens is, and they're surprised when I tell them that chickens aren't smelly, gross, annoying, or anything like that. They're very enjoyable to be around, fun to watch, and interesting and beautiful animals! If you can go to the swap, that would be another good idea, too!
