thinking of getting ducks

Okey, I asked this group about the alligator ducks and only one person has answered me right now but anyway he says that there called domestic ducks in English, So a mix breed?

When I google them they are many breeds that are domestic ducks (Domestic ducks are ducks that are raised for meat, eggs and down. Many ducks are also kept for show or as pets)

So I guess alligator ducks are many different breeds that people in Icelandic just breed all together, i’m waiting for more information in this group but this is the only thing I got right now from them.

I almost replied this same thing. It looks like a variety of mallard derived ducks. A lot of different breeds in the pictures.

so I been asking more about them and there supposed to be good layers, so maybe I get few girl, 1 or 2 in same color as the welsh harlequin and 1 or 2 of the black and white one and see if I like anymore colors, and maybe get 2 pekin hens, but I think I won't get drakes tho, only hens but if I get Muscovites then I'm going to keep a drake in that breed and hens but I think I will only keep the aliducks for pets and eggs and because there in beautiful colors
but I'm still thinking about it so I will see what I will deside to do, thank you all for you help
I'm so in love with the muscovy duck , I been looking at videos and info about them and there so cute, I hope it doesn't cost to much to flight them here to Iceland, I'm still waiting for a answer on that from the person I send email to that is supposed to know al about that
