OH I am green with envy

. I want a Giant Dewlap so bad but haven't gotten up the nerve to order any. I need to get set up for another breed of geese first but I find myself on Holderreads site often.

Order the top show quality pair and then get the fancy assortment (which is ony $9 a gosling) so that way you get the pair and you have the minimum shipment number.

ETA...the duckling minimum is 10 ducklings...

There is no telling what the post office might do to a shipment, so there are no certainties.

Holderread sends out hatchlings that are fat, healthy, and calm natured. They travel exceptionally well. I've received 2 breeds of duck from him and they were not stressed in the least by the shipping. Of course, I received them very quickly, but that calm temperament really makes a difference in how they take the shipping.

I put my order in for a pair of Dewlap Toulouse and a dozen penciled runners over a month ago. We recently moved to Maine but when I lived in Massachusetts I emailed with a woman from Maine who had Holderread geese. She said all of her shipments from him arrived from him in great shape. Oregon to Maine is truly cross country. I'm looking forward to May!!

I am also debating on ordering from Holderread. I spoke with a very nice lady there about getting two mature females to add to my free ranging pair that came with the property I acquired (breed/gender/age unknown). She warned me about the shipping costs for adults, but thought they could help me out with the order. She is supposed to get back to me next week with more information.
