Every offspring of excellent birds will not be an excellent bird him or herself. Also, just because someone's asking 300 a pair for birds doesn't mean they're worth it. And it certainly doesn't mean they'll get it if the birds they're asking it for are not up to snuff.
And nope, like I said, I'm not a Sebbie expert. I could be wrong. I don't think so. But it's certainly possible.
And remember, her quality isn't something to get defensive or upset about. Every bird is not a great bird -- as the standard goes -- but that doesn't mean you can't like them just as much. Like I said, my favorite gander in my flock is the worst one as the standard of his breed goes. He has a pink bill and legs rather than orange, sticks out like a sore thumb, but he's a joy and a half to be around. There's nothing wrong with having and loving poor/pet quality birds, but when you go to sell them it's helpful to be able to look at them without the rosy glasses of that love. Because buyers, by and large, are going to be realistic. Though they may become attached to the bird later, they're not attached to it yet so they see what's there on the outside, not what you may admire about the "inside". This is difficult to do for some people and seems to be hard for most at first but if you sell many birds it will become easier to do as you go along.
Try PMing some so when they get on they don't miss your post.
Thats true on even if the parenst are SQ that does not mean teh chicks will be, i know that.
I am not defensive on crituge but i am when says poor q and not express why (just by saying a picture says a thousand words makes no sense, becouse basically you said all my geese are poor becouse it is not even stated which one she was., and then to some one else instead of telling me whay they THINK she is. i hope i made sense on that. I mean i hope you understand where i come from on that.
If i was tell someone there chicken is poor i would let them know my opion on what i think is wrong with the bird and not to someone else the way you did.
I wish i knew who the Sebbi experts are, i have no clue.
I originally posted less than an hour after your original post went up and initially mentioned her quality directly in response to you, not someone else. You posted several times after that and never asked for clarification on my opinion of her quality so I thought you understood/knew. Had you responded to me with questions or concerns as rancherhicks did I'd have been happy to clarify directly to you as well.
As to which one she is not being stated, absolutely true, but I'd rank all the white sebbies pictured roughly the same quality so it doesn't matter a whole lot which exactly one she is. I wasn't being specific to one bird or the other of those pictured.
Nope you stated poor after your first post, i did not know you were calling them poor from the beging.
But even till now, you still dont say why you think, i mean these are my first geese ever and when someone says poorq, of course i am saying what the does that mean, feathers? beak? coloring? feet? tail? and whats wrong with them to make them poor quility.
I mean come on you should admit when i asking you why you say they are poor and the only answer you give for that ( a pictures says a thousand words) was the wrong way to answer that.
Again i dont have issues on stateing whats wrong with my birds but it would be nice to explain whats wrong with teh birds.
