Thinking off adding but...

I know I should have listened to you before but the guy I bought them off said he has been keeping chickens for forty years and it was him that told me it would be OK just to let them go with the original flock, there would be no problems.
At first I thought he may be right but as I said in my above post, when evening came things were a lot different, "This is our coop and your not coming in." :smack

I had a thought, I won't do it till I get your opinion.
In the old coop I had the 3 original birds, well now I have 2 new birds in it, so what would happen do you think if I put one of the original birds in the old coop with the new birds?

I mean then the original bird would be the guest and lower in the pecking order, after a while swap it for another and so on, would that work, like i say it's just a theory, so don't laugh.

That might be a viable theory down the line, but I'd not try it off the get go....
...first the new birds need to 'home'(make it their territory) to the small coop which will take a week or so.
