She was pretty upset about it, she said she was more attached to him than almost any of her other "feather babies". he would always climb up and snuggle on her shoulder

. she was excited to know when KD hatches her clutch she just started brooding recently. She will be building an outside duck pen after she gets finished with her turtle pen... so no more duckies sleeping in the bathroom.
 
Sad to hear about her death.
Let me tell you that the first though that came to my mind was that you could have made millions, after all you were the first person in the world getting the featherless gene(?) in waterfowl, which if used as in chickens would have created a new industry standard (avoid spending millions in plucking machinery).
If were I, I wouldn't have give it way.
