This chicken is a gluttonous dinosaur

The grossest thing I've seen my chickens eat:
Grandkids were here and one of them dropped an ear of corn. One of the dogs ate it cob and all. The next day the dog had some gastrointestinal issues and pooped out undigested corn. The chickens apparently couldn't stand to see corn go to waste. They seem to enjoy the gravy too. 🤢
Wow! That one ranks right up there! lol

Had the farrier out Friday afternoon, the hens were really into the hoof trimmings, I had to scoops them up fast and dispose of them, not sure if a hard hoof would cause havoc for them.

But the horse poop itself is fine 😉

In less than a minute that fresh pile of horse poop was tore apart! All for the bits of oats that passed through the horse system and any stray bugs that stray into the poop. Yummy ….?

Not caught him eating anything especially weird or gross yet, but I feel like this Barred Rock chick belongs on this thread? He's the fattest chick I've ever seen!

His best pal is a tiny Shetland chick that hatched with an unabsorbed yolk and is doing well but still half the size of the others and probably only about a third of the size of chonky boy here.
