She seems OK this morning, walking and drinking (I didn’t see her eating). The hawk ripped all the feathers off one cheek so she’s only half fluffy today (she’s an Ameraucana). Her eye is also still swollen shut, although it doesn’t look damaged when I open it gently.
This is the first time in the 5 months I’ve had her that this bird has let me anywhere near her without screaming

She’s doing well! She still won’t open her eye, and it appears she will be blind on that side, but other than that she’s doing all her normal chicken stuff

My chicks have so many “not dead” moments, but unfortunately they usually end getting stepped on by one another and waking up before I can get my camera out
