Holy Dinah - where you ok? Gosh that’s just not funny (sorry but I didn’t DID laugh after I gasped), but when I was still a Nurse the no. 1 reason for injuries in seniors (breaks, etc) was tripping over pets. Next was mats (tape those edges down!).

Ummmm - was the hen ok?

She is still okay. It wasn't so much a trip as a fall to avoid stepping on her.
Its funny now but it sure messed with my brain for a few months. I fell into a four by four post and struck the top of my head. It was a pretty bad concussion.
And she still tries to trip me.

Wait! Kelly! I just realized you called me a senior! I mean, I like the discounts but I'm not ready to "graduate"
I have cats. I should be used to tripping over pets. The hen's name is Pumpkin btw.
Go ahead and laugh. It was pretty funny after the fact. The UPS guy and neighbors for miles got an ear full of fowl language as I was on my way down.
