This chicken is not dead

I mean, it's possible

Oh that would be me! I have a mantra that I repeat in the barn ‘don’t fall down don’t fall down’

I am sure those little velociraptors would be on me in a flash pecking out my eyes!!!!!!

Mrs Little Chicken again - she’s a pro and scaring the crap out of me!

Mr Little Chicken also has great technique- did he fly into a tree? He’s ok 😉

I got 2 Wyandotes, mine are not lap chickens, don't like to be hug, and quite fussy. Good thing is that they are not a bully, just keep to themselves. They are beautiful to look at and my Silver laced Wyandottee is very vocal and make many different sounds.
I also have golden laced wynadotes. They are NOT my favorite birds though, nasty attitudes give my roosters a hard time 😂thats alright Ive got great roosters Bard, Whisper Dan, Michaelangelo, and Mario.

I have 5 blue laces Wyandotte pullets ordered for April hatching. Most will go to a friend who is sharing an order with me on chicks (have a bunch of different varieties ordered), I’ll probably keep what he doesn’t want, they sure are nice looking.

I also ordered silver spangled and golden pencilled Hamburg pullets - very pretty! Some Australorp and 3 Fayoumi. Replace some of my aging hens who are now lawn ornaments.

Blue laced Wyandotte, that is rare colour! It is beautiful for sure.

Sometime I sit there watching my Wyandottees moving about in my garden, how beautiful and graceful they look. They will come for treat, but hand off..hand off they insisted. 🤣

You should post a photo of them when you get a chance.

How do you find they are with the heat and humidity?

I will take a photo of my Wyandottee sometimes when the weather cooled down a bit.

Like this summer, it is so humidly hot, they don't sleep in the coop, they prefer to roost on the coop's roof. The coop is inside an metal enclosure so they are safe. During the day, they hide in the shade just like my other breed chickens. When it is really hot, I hose all my chickens under their wings and tummies. I also trim down their vents and tummies feather, just about 1cm.

I think they are ok with the heat, they don't go out into the sun like other chickens do, with that big coat they are wearing..who would want to go out on hot day. I also intervene a lot to ease down the heat so I don't know will they be ok if I don't intervene to help in very hot weather like lately.
