I purchased 5 pullet chicks and 1 duckling from our local farm store back in mid April. I've never had any concern as to the sex of my chickens until my neighbors became insistent that my single golden laced Wyandotte is a rooster. I've researched the internet and while I'm no pro by any means, think this chicken is still a hen but now I'm not 100%. It is right about 14 weeks old and does have spur bumps, as do the other 4 hens. If this beautiful bird turns out to be a rooster, it has to go because I do not want breeding. Could someone please help?!
