This coop?

Pics
You do!! Awesome! Can you post a pic? I would love to see it.
I didn't paint it. I only did thompson's water seal. Using something we already had at the house, so it was tinted. My husband fashioned a lattice run to the front and we added hardware cloth to that. This is also winterized. Then, we put up the cattle panel. But, they can onky be out in the bigger run when I am home due to flying predators until I add something to keep them out.
There are actually quite a few of us on here that have the same coop. There was a mod thread, I will see if I can find it.

That is really cute!!! I have been looking for coops the past for weeks. I finally settled on that one. I am going to paint it white and blue for my backyard. I will do my usual adding more hardware cloth, latches, and other modifications like I do all my other kit coops. But it will look good in the end. I like what you did to yours. I will have to shoot you a pic of mine when I get it finished. We are going to name it the TARDIS. All of the residents in that coop will be named after Dr. Who characters. The girls will be named after the companions and the boys will be Strax and Hydroflax. I think I spelled those right.

Anyway, I cannot wait to get the coop. Did you get yours at TSC?

@Star and eclipsa if I were you, I would got to tractor supply or rural king and check out what they have. Sometimes they have manager specials. You can look online to see what is available.try craigslist too - sometimes you can find a good deal.
Also, chicken wire is good for keeping chickens in, but not for keeping predators out. You can probably reuse the chicken wire for an apron to keep diggers out.
If you have someone who can build for you, you could try that route too.

:goodpost:
Go get that! It won't last. You might think it's too big but you could scale back a bit if needed. You need a friend with a truck and tools. Offer them $75 of your budget. You can pay a fair price for help, then more for set up help.

AGAIN, please get adult help for Craigslist communications

Here is a great mod of two prefabs, not the thread I was referring to earlier. I am still looking for that one.
