the small rug was originally for my bedroom but my mom didn't look at how big it was when she ordered it so now it is only useful as a carpet for a chicken house

It would seem you need either much more money plus help(pre fabs won't be delivered assembled) or a little money and ingenuity plus help. Either way you'll need tools. And either way you'll need it soon, they aren't safe outside even one night right now.

Time to do some soul searching. Do you want to own these chickens or not? You seem committed to them and responsible, so its time to stop finding reasons not to and just get something done. We will be here to help with your plan.

Would they at least be okay outside during the day in there? They can stay in at night but my grandma might get mad if I move them back inside during the day too.

Could this work for four or five chickens? I plan on asking my mom's co-worker to expand their current cage with the chicken wire he has left so they can have a bigger run to attach to this one so there is enough room. My mom decided that we weren't going to buy one from wish so I started looking for better ones on amazon, and this is the best (in my opinion) that i found.

Surely that metal cleanout tray isn't on the ground, the way it looks.
