This coop?

I guess only you know what predators live there. Whats holding that plastic trellis on? Can a snake get in where that chicken wire is?
A small snake might be able to, but I haven't seen any snakes around here in years, and the only snakes that i used to see where black racers.
There was a rat once a few years ago, but there haven't been any sightings of any of those around here in years either.
There are two dogs at my neighbor's house but the fence is tall and sturdy and the chickens cant see the dogs and the dogs cant see the chickens, and those dogs have been there for years and they have never gotten out. I saw a stray cat last october, so that may be a problem.

Bought this for $59USD. All I did was water blasted it, cleaned it all out, and added a gas strut.

Thank you, but it doesn't look very well-ventilated to me and I would have to buy a run and just that coop alone is over my budget. My mom said we couldn't raise the budget to more than $150. But thank you anyway!

I understand about budgets, I need to stick to mine a lot better. Just get the best coop you can afford in your budget. Give it some love and your girls will be blessed. If you can give them some supervised free ranging time that is a bonus. Good luck! Shopping for coops is so much fun.

One is a male and the other is a female. They get to roam around my yard when I can watch them.
