This does not look like a turkey to me

We saved this baby from rural king. He was in the back being quarantined because the other "turkeys" were pecking his comb. He is starting to look more and more like a chicken the older he gets. These are the best pictures I could get as our run is made of chicken wire top and skids on the sides

Thank you! It took us about a day to build it, got tired of the hawks taking off with our babies.

Chicken, not a turkey at all. Not even close. How old?

Do you know what breed? Leghorn or Cornish cross? It has brown towards the bottom and isn't as plump as what our other Cornish looked.

So much for "Tom" being our Thanksgiving dinner next year lol! At least he was free and didn't end up dying in the back room of Rural King

He was free. They didn't feel like messing with him trying to nurse him back so we offered to take him.
