Wasn't sure where to post this. And wanted to use another word in title but didn't want to get booted.
I saw this on my local news:
NORRIDGEWOCK The 25-year-old Farmington truck driver whose tractor trailer overturned Thursday is in stable condition, according to Maine State Trooper Peter Michaud.
Robert Mosher was the only person involved in the single-vehicle accident. He was extricated by Norridgewock firefighters Thursday afternoon after being trapped in the cab for about an hour.
He was LifeFlighted to Central Maine Medical Center, where he was treated for internal injuries and broken ribs.
Mosher had been hauling a load of chicken manure north along Walker Road. The manure was sprayed across a lawn and vehicles parked near the scene of the accident, Michaud said.
The tractor trailers owner, Maine Contract Farming in Turner, took responsibility for the mess and made a deal with the residents to clean it up, Michaud said.
Excessive speed was the cause of the accident, not alcohol or drugs, Michaud said.
He actually went around the corner and tipped over on the drivers side in the road, he said. It was kind of a slow roll. He didnt hit anything but the ground.
Police received the call at 3:11 p.m.
It took four hours to clear the scene.
No citations were issued.
The news link..bad day
