We are also addicted!!!!

We have only had chickens since May! It all started with 2 white silkies....

We have brooded about 25 chicks...

I have given some away because...

friend wanted a few
didn't want roosters
(because of horror stories)
kids ordered banties they no longer wanted (want standerd size)

Now...

I want roosters
(so I can hatch eggs)
I now like the breed I gave away

We have 4 americanas, 2 silkies, 3 cochin banties, 3 barred rocks left!

Isn't it amazing how therapeutic poultry is??? Our DH's should be grateful...hmmmm maybe that is why mine is letting me raise so many???

jj...you are totally right...i did quarantine the last birds i got for 2 weeks...i stupidly just put these new ameraucanas in with my flock without even thinking about it until about 30mins after i had done it!

Oh well at least im not the only crazy one who has lost their mind over chickens! Now if i could just get some eggs...
