I recently ordered 2 Blue Australorps and 2 ee chicks from Mt. Healthy hatcheries, and they gave me an extra, I'm assuming it's an Australorp, but it is much yellower than the other two so not sure.

1. Rain, the chick in question
2. Blue, a Blue Australorp
3. Misty, the other Blue Australorp.

It could be Blue, or might be Splash

The color can vary a lot, and sometimes they're difficult to tell apart as young chicks.

Blue is 1 copy of dilute
Splash is 2 copies of blue dilute (one from each parent)

BTW, when you order "blue", you can get black, blue, or splashed plumage and blue can vary in shade. Can't be certain until they feather but it sure looks like someone made an effort to give you three you will be able to tell apart.

To add-
if the hatchery listing says BBS, you can get any of those colors as it's all those colors on 1 listing.
If they've split them into listings of Blue, Black, and Splash (3 separate listings), then they'll try to get you the color you ordered. But, there might be some mixups (some blues might look black, some splash might look blue)

Also, is it too early to tell if these two are true ameraucanas

Those are not Ameraucanas. I haven't shopped Mt Healthy before so I looked and they advertise "Americana". That's another term for Easter eggers, they won't have standardized plumage but are likely to produce blue or green eggs.

APA Ameraucana aren't common, and have strict rules for color and appearance. (And... overpriced.)

People often misspell the word (you spelled it correctly) or get them mixed up with eggers/mixes. Many of the easter eggers we grew up seeing had Ameraucana influence, such as beard and muffs, and some hatcheries insist on calling their eggers "americana" thus making it even more confusing for people who were expecting the APA breed.

EE are great, love them. Just personally hate that hatcheries intentionally confuse people.

If you want to learn more about APA Ameraucana, there's more info online. It'll just be a little difficult to sort through the eggers vs APA Ameraucana.
