My papillon has it even worse. At least your evil chicken is a rooster; my poor dog, who is about as tall as my dog-killing chickens, has to deal with 3 of my hens! I've literally had to resort to stepping between put-upon canine and the attack poultry. To make matters worse my dog is in her teens, doesn't hear well if at all, so the hens can effectively mount a chicken sneak attack.

Ah, the life of small dogs isn't always fun.
