I've got a wellie chick hatched on Feb. 28th from Meyer
She has stunted growth ( about the size of a 4 weeker instead of 8 like she is) and she has a very odd gate / walk to her. She walks as though she is doing an old Soviet Union march and bringing her legs up so far that they brush her head when she walks. Very straight legged and very high deliberate looking kicks. I wish there was a better way to describe it??
Other wise she seems completely happy and healthy and eats normally. She is feathered nicely, normal poops, normal in every other way that I can see anyway.
Anyone have a clue?
Dawg...have you seen or heard of this before?
She is in with her other 8 hatch mates with the big girls, but the hens have accepted them well and even coddle them to an extent. Never had any pecking problems, etc. Obviously I'm worried about a CNS virus wiping me out.
