Maybe a nice warm compress for about 30 mins will help loosen it enough you can peel it off? Can you post a pic of this. I am having a hard time trying to figure out how she can have a scab over the eye if the eye ball is what is injured.

Okay I'm going to try my hardest to go get a picture right now. It's darkish outside.

It came lose when I picked her up so I guess I will pick it off.
 
Sorry you're going through this, but I'm glad she seems to be healing/responding well to all your loving care.

I was thinking about what you said about her being startled when you come up to her because she can't see you until you're in front of her. Maybe start talking softly to her when you come in the room and get louder as you get closer to her so she's not surprised?

Great suggestion. We have been giving her verbal cues and trying to be respectful by trying to grab her from the side she can see out of.
