OHG! I am in LOVE!

Just got our first chicks yesterday and they are just way to cute for words. Today as I sat with them ALL 7 took a nap in the palm of my cupped hand........................Way to sweet. Think I'm giving up TV 4 RIR and 3 BR

My son and I sat in the coop this evening staring at the broody hen waiting for her to raise up and give us a glimpse of the hatching process. Several visitors joined us - but also mentioned that we were just a bit obsessed

As of last light we had one hatched and at least 3 in various stages.

Can't wait 'til MORNING!!

First hatch for us. I love having a hen do all the work - but envy the view y'all get with a bator.

Oh yeah - totally forgot to get groceries or fix dinner. OOPS

Dinner-schminner, my chicks NEED me to sit with them!!!

Today I sat with my oldest set of chicks and everyone cuddled with me and stuck right next to 'mom'. My dogs were contentedly chewing on bones, the sun was shining, and I was out in the field snoozing with my chicks. LOVED it!!!! I need a hammock this summer, to really relax with the chick-chicks!!!
