So been up since 6.30am in pouring rain cleaning out all chickens and quail i stink and soaked lol brownie wanted to join in and also get wet

Isn't it crazy what we will do to make our birds happy? Sometimes, after cleaning coops I feel like it would be better to just burn my stinky, soppy clothes instead of putting them in the washing machine.

And isn't it nice to have "helpers"? Bronwyn, my Speckled Sussex, feels it's her duty to help me with all my cleaning tasks -- which means she will scratch and scatter piled up used litter before I can toss it in the wheelbarrow and, she likes to climb into the duck shelter when I'm trying to remove duck muck.

Despite all their interference, they're all adorable and clearly, you love yours! Hope you're warm and dry now!

Thank u yes brownie and mango were helping by kicking all bedding and dirt looking for worms had to re sweep about 8 times after all that they nt even on the ground both decided to perch
