This is important.

Thank you, everyone, I love hearing your own little memories of y'all's moms. I'm sorry for those that lost theirs . . . it makes me cry to hear of anyone losing someone they love.

BTW, did she bag whatever she was hunting?

Yes, she has a followup shot of her on that hunting trip with a buck. I love the pictures of her out hunting, barrel racing, messing with her sheep and goats, or camping the best, because I always know she was genuinely happy when the picture was taken. This photo may not be the most attractive one I have of her, but I'd take this photo over one of her posing and smiling in a dress and make up any day.

Mothers are precious. I lost mine in 2002 and miss her every day. Yes she is important, but just as important is that she has someone like you to love an appreciate her. I think if you asked her who was more lucky, she would say that she was.

how important and pertinent. we take for granted people and things in our lives. we ignore the little things that turn out to be pretty big in the end.

one day, i hope my children write something like that about me and my husband. i am glad i tell my mom how much the little things mean and meant to me. without her, there would be no me.

fowltemptress,

I wanted to let you know, because of you I'm now trying to have more patients with my son. He has special needs. And sometimes it’s hard not to get mad and loose my temper. I tend to do that a lot. Now I listen to everything he has to say no matter if it takes him 15 minutes to tell me a 2 minute story. So from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

God Bless you.

Gosh . . . I'm not sure what to say to that. I'm glad to think I may have helped someone, and thank you for letting me know that. I wish the best for you and your son.
