Okay 6 months ago our dishwasher bit the dust. We havent replaced it since money is tight and hey...we have teenagers who can wash dishes.

About 3 months ago, our Over the Range microwave started freaking out. You have to unplug it when not in use cause it likes to turn itself on while empty.

Today, I opened the cupboard over the Glass Top Range and a 4$ WalMart jar candle fell onto the stove and SHATTERED the top. Ruining all of the burners.

I guess I should be extra nice to the fridge huh?

Oh no! Isn't today your birthday??!! I wish you lived around here. You could come to my house for tea and chocolate cake. Or if you prefer Margaritas and Nachos! It does seem like it all happens at once. Last year it was our Washer, dishwasher and water pump in a month time frame! Thank goodness for Home Depot credit and the fact that my FIL was replacing a perfectly good dishwasher, it was just too loud!!

I am sorry Camelot. And on your birthday no less! [IMG]

When I have days like that I'm tempted to go to back to bed and pull the covers over my head. If I'm going to be miserable, might as well be comfortable while I'm doing it. [IMG]

    Thanks all!

I did end up back in bed Gritsar with a good book and a glass of lemonade. Kids are picking up pizza for the birthday dinner and they cleaned up the kitchen so its not all bad...

I'll be applying for a home depot account tomorrow...gah!

Sorry for all the troubles.... I wish you were close to me you could have our dishwasher and stove! The old DW was only 2 yrs old but too small for us - the layout on the inside was just wrong - it was a GE w/stainless interior. It's still on the porch. The stove was older but we replaced it with a gas range when we moved into this house....
I would definatly be very, very nice to the fridge!!! LOL!

My dishwasher bit the dust 2 years ago. I'm so tired of hand washing I could scream.

ouchy... that's why when my mom moved into her place I organized her cupboards and put the plastic bags, saran wrap, paper plates.... over the glass top range.

    Happy Birthday....we had pizza too!

Quote:We must have the same brand. Ours sparks now and then and other times won't turn itself off, even with the door open. Of course, it only does it when nobody else is around, like it's taunting me. [IMG]

    Edited to add Happy Birthday!!
