When I was a kid we had a hen hatch out some ducklings... thought she was going to have a regular kiniption fit when she took them by the irrigation pond and in they went. Pretty funny.

I have a couple of broody girls who like to steal the other hens' eggs. It's pretty normal as near as I can tell! A couple of my girls, lacking any chicks to mother, will sit on top of the smaller hens.

Maybe it's just not a normal news day--nothing bad happened.
