This is one of my 6 week old mixed breed chicks

I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out.If I get a roo and pullet I may try to breed them together and see if I get any improvement in the coloration.if not I may try them with the SLW or Bo roo.

How neat, I am sure their coloring will be lovely when the feathers come all the way in. That was funny, I saw the face before I read the text about the breed at the bottom and thought 'wyandotte face!' Its an interesting cross I had never thought of before, thanks for sharing

I also have a Partridge Rock roo x Buff Orpington hen that is interesting too.She is a darker buff color with a small amount of penciling beginning on her back.She looks to be more Orpington with short legs and stocky build.I think she will be a large hen that should lay some nice large eggs.
