No, a Raccoon can reach in and pull the chicken out through the holes, 1/2" hard ware cloth is need to keep this from happining

I agree, a coon will just reach through and rip heads/feet off sadly. Are you going to put a run on it or will you be free ranging? Also how many chickens will be in there, it looks a little snug
