We found a bug attached to our four year old daughters lower eyelashes hair follicle. It looked like a stye but then a closer magnifying glass it seemed to be a tiny tick. We took her to urgent care to remove because of the location. But after we put it under a microscope and its body is clear. It was attached to her by the head and it seems to have two long arms that curl near the head. Am I looking at a chicken mite?! We cleaned the chicken coop out on Sunday. She was holding chickens and we first saw a spot on her eye on Monday. Please help because I need to protect and treat the coop if so. Also, not allow our children to hold them until its cleared. Thank you so much!

When I did a screenshot of the image and had Google look it up, it came back with Asian Longhorned Tick....your specimen looks mangled, but quite similar in shape, legs, etc...hard to say about size/color.

This link has a pic of the tick looking "clear" as your picture shows...
