this is supposed to be an ameraucuana pullet. any guesses?

It's an easter egger cockerel.

Jean, How could you tell it was a cockerel? I just had a few Ameraucanas hatch and wondered if I could tell which is which.​

the color, it is a 99% dead give away on easter eggers..... silver duckwing in appearance

and, the comb is pretty big already

also all my chicks have similar sized combs and this is actually one of my smallest month old babies

Highly unlikely, looks like a cockeral to me, too.​

so even though she acts NOTHING like a roo and is the smallest of my month olds and has a comb about the same size and feathered out the fastest you're still saying she's a roo?

Well...maybe if you made him wear a dress for a while...

If roosters are illegal there....I would definately..."dress him."

Or take him back and get your money (plus a bag of feed) and buy from a more reputable breeder.​

i got it from a feed store not a breeder.
