As a child, you may not realize exactly what you just typed. First, the original post did NOT have a warning. That warning was added three hours later by a moderator AFTER I made my post and AFTER I requested a warning.

You might find it useful in life to make sure that you are reading posts accurately before accusing others of not doing so.

It might help you to understand that the way you posted on this thread does not reflect well upon you. It is an example of immature, childish behavior. That might be fine on the playground, but you need to act in a more mature manner if you want to have respect when associating with adults.

Oh and why does it matter that I'm a minor? Alot of adults can act very childish too, and when i put *LOL* that ment i was kidding i was laughing, and I'm sorry i didnt know that the warning wasnt on when you posted, i didnt even know you could really tell, unless you look at the time it was edited, and i certainly dont, i was just trying to point it out that there was a label, and the last part was nothing truthful, so just get off my back and lets clear the air...

Well, honestly I didn't think it needed a warning. Because if you have chickens this could be a reality. And just to show how BYC helps people keep chickens safe.

Also if you took the time to read the paragraph first, you would have known what the pictures below were (and you had to scroll down to see them).

Agreed, sometimes we read things and take the post the wrong way which is why we have the smilings... the green laughy face is one of the better one's to show jest. In the big scheme of things I think BD's post was reasonable.

That is definitely why it's called Chicken Wire, that's the only thing stopped by it. If I didn't have a 150lb dog I would never consider using it. But since mine free range all day, it is really only there to keep them corralled if I need to and to slow down predators so my dog can eat them. The chickens spend the night in a very secure coop.​

dogs and geese...

My layers are in a 80x80 (ish) run surrounded by welded wire fencing (coop is in the run) which is in my fenced in yard and pasture, they are locked tight at night too! ... there are lots of trees etc in the run so its open air and I do have chicken wire around the bottom inside but it was just intended to keep the little chicks in. At the moment however our newest rescue shepherd is learning about chickens and how they should not be his snacks... when he pokes his snout through the welded wire he hits the chciken wire... by that time any birds close to the wire have moved... predators would really need to work it to get into my chicken rrun (knock on wood!).

All this sort of posting has taught me great stuff about protection and my meaties will have a whole new set up next year as a result.
