So sweet. I did the 4-H thing as a kid, and I want to sign my daughter up this fall since she'll be old enough. We talked about the different projects, and she REALLY wanted to get some chickens. So, chicks it is. We have to watch her with the chicks because they're still small, but she is so sweet with them. Watching them play keep away with food really cracks her up. "Momma, they crack me up and down!" she says.

Our grandon LOVES the chickens, Knows the breeds we have and what color egg they lay.. He is 3.. It is so much fun to watch how excited he gets when he sees the eggs in the nest box.. He picks each one up, rubs it on his cheeks and announces---It's very warm, a little warm or cold...
