This just can't end well...

Your Robin looks a lot like my Cap'n Blackbeard. Cap'n started making crowing noises last night.
We had a cat help us with the baby chicks at night, I'd tell him, hold on to that one, and he would. Thankfully, we never had a problem with our cats and the birds. Guess it was just understood, you will die kitty kat, and we won't help you. They would get mad because we'd kick them out of the roost at nite. They worked so hard getting it all cozy and warm, then they'd have to find thier own bed elsewhere.

I'm still putting the kittens back in the coop at night. It's pretty chilly here in the wee hours and I figure both the cats and the banties could use the extra body heat. The kitties meet me at the door around 10pmish and trot ahead of me to the coop. They go in happily and nestle down in the nest boxes and snooze away. They get along great at night. Dodger is only fiesty in the afternoon. He's clearly not a morning kitty.

ChickenLady- I love the visual of your cats and chickens sun bathing together! How sweet!
