Colorado...but home is Maine
so, i am still worried about the eggs that i have. they are beautiful silkie eggs. now...a few days ago i got a bunch of farmers market eggs. I decided to test a theory and i stuck four of those in the incubator too. That same evening the incubator thermometer went crazy and said the temp was 115. DH has tried to reassure me that all's well. But...still i am worried. But this morning i candled the farmers market eggs...they have veins!!! So if those are veining now...is it safe to say that the eggs did NOT get to 115 degrees? And that the thermometer is on crack? The silkie eggs seem ok. Veining is still beautiful, if a little more pronounced now. It could be my wishful and prayerful thinking clouding my eyes, but i wonder if...maybe? Maybe they are ok?

Hello! Had the same thing happen on several occasions...and the eggs made it JUST fine!

Sometimes when you stick new eggs in with already set eggs, it makes the temps goofy! Anyhow, I wish you a GREAT hatch!!!
