This morning up early with the dreaded fear of my bird may be gone??????

You can also fan out the wire of your coop--like an apron, so about a foot or so lays on the ground. A predator may come up to the fence and try to dig, but the fence would be right there under it--they may not figure out that they have to dig a good distance away from coop fence to actually dig under...just a thought. Part of my fence is like this, but I have 4 big dogs and have had ZERO predators on our property, ever..
